A 10 metre long rope is cut into two pieces and two squares are formed using these two. The difference in areas enclosed by these Squares is 1 1/4 metres.
Taking the length of large piece as x metres and that of small piece as y metres then,
a) What the number is x+y?
b) Express the area of large square in terms of x.
c) Find the number X-Y?
d) Find the lengths of both pieces.​
