v= 200V

R= 10 ohm

I = ?

V=I*R

200 = I * 10

I = 200/10 = 20 Ampere

Cᴏʀʀᴇᴄᴛ ǫᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ :-

A 10 Ω resistance is connected across a 200 volt battery. Calculate the current flowing through the resistance.

Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • Resistance (R) = 10 Ω
  • Potential Difference (V) = 200 V

ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-

  • Current (I)

sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

On using Ohm's Law, we get,

V = I × R

200 = I × 10

I = 200/10

I = 20 A

Hence,

  • Current (I) = 20 A
