A 100-turn coil of radius 20cm is located in a uniform field of 2.0T such that the plane of the coil is perpendicular to the direction of the field. The coil is then rotated at a uniform angular velocity through 90° in the time t 2.5s, so that the plane of the coil is finally parallel to the direction of the field. a) Calculate the average EMF induced in the coil as a result of the rotation? b) What is the instantaneous value of the EMF at the time the coil makes an angle of 60° with the magnetic field?
