the correct answer is 4000w

my solution is explained below

let the original coil have resistance r........the new have resistances r/2.......

initially we get a wattage of (v^2)/r ......

but now we have 2 coils having half the original resistance.........and they are connected in parallel......so new combined coil resistance (R) is 1/R= 2/r+ 2/r.......so R=r/4........

so new power of the combined coil is

(v^2)/(r/4) = 4 {(v^2)/r}. i.e. 4times the initial power.... so answer is

4*1000=4000W

skkhan46: if you can ask anyone else you can
skkhan46: i just wanna know
skkhan46: because someone told it is true so i wanted to know that person has given me
skkhan46: the right answer or not
skkhan46: and if its not true what is e=mc² about
kokoashutosh: this formula just gives the relation between mass and energy
kokoashutosh: it states both mass and energy are interconvertible
kokoashutosh: also it doesn't relates to any time machine stuff
kokoashutosh: if u r interested in time machine....the read newtons special thoery of relativity
kokoashutosh: by the way u haven't marked the brainliest answer ........plz mark it plz.....it would help me a lot
