A 1000kg car is travelling at 5m/s tot he right and crashes into a 2000kg truck that is at rest. The collision is elastic, the truck bounces away from the car and is given a velocity of 2m/s tothe right. What velocity does the car have afte the collision? (assume the system is closed and isolated)
A) 1m/s
B) -1m/s
C) -3m/s
D) 3m/s
