Completely out of the tunnel, the total distance that the train should be covered is length of the train + length of the tunnel = 100+200 = 300 m

Time given = 50 seconds as the train move with the constant velocity.

Velocity of the train = distance covered /time taken
                                = 300/50
                                = 6 m/s

Therefore, velocity of the train = 6 m/s

"The velocity of train is 6 m/s.

Solution:

The total length covered by the train = length of the train + length of the bridge = 100 m +200 m = 300 m

Time taken to cover the distance of 300 m = 50 s

Velocity is a change in distance to time. It is a "vector quantity". The "unit of velocity" is m/s.

Velocity =\frac{\text {Distance}}{\text {Time}}

=\frac{300}{50}

Velocity =6 \mathrm{m} / \mathrm{s}"
