to calculate total pieces we hav eto divide 117 1/3 by 7 1/3
which is equal to 16(approx.)

length \: of \: rope  = 117 \frac{1}{3} m \\ length \: of \: each \: equal \: division = 7 \frac{1}{3} m \\ number \: of \: peices = 117 \frac{1}{3}  \div 7 \frac{1}{3}  \\  \frac{352}{3}  \times \frac{3}{22}  = \frac{352}{22}  = 16 \:  \\ number \: of \: pieces = 16 \:  \\  \\ hope \: it \: helps)
