We have ,
Total length of the rope = 117^ 1/3 m = 352/3 m
Now this rope is cut into equal pieces of equal length.
Length of each piece = 7^1/3 m = 22/3 m
No of pieces = length of rope divided by length of each piece
 = 352/3 ÷ 22/3
= 352/3 × 3/22
3 gets cancelled and the remaining would be 352/22
= 16

so no of pieces = 16

Answer:

Hey Mate, Here's your answer :D

117^1/2 = 352/3

7^1/3 = 22/3

=> \frac{352}{3} / \frac{22}{3}

We take the reciprocal here:-

=>\frac{352}{3} X \frac{3}{22} = \frac{1056}{66} = 16m

Hope it helps,
