Answer:

the force that the car’s tires exerted on the road is 2,666.67 N.

Explanation:

Given;

mass of the car, m = 1,200 kg

initial velocity of the car, u = 0

final velocity of the car, v = 10.0 m/s

time of motion, t = 4.50 s

The force the car’s tires exerted on the road is calculated as follows;

F = ma= m(v - u)

t

Therefore, the force that the car’s tires exerted on the road is 2,666.67 N.

A 1200 kilogram car accelerates from 10 m/s to 20 m/s in 5.0 seconds.

m = 1200 kg

u = 10 m/sec

v = 20 m/sec

t = 5 sec

Formula used => a = u-v/t

F = m×a

= 20-10/5

= 10/5

so , 2 m/s²

Now , F = m×a

= 1200×2

= 2400 N
