Lets assume the man is standing still. What would the answer be in that case? Apparently the train travels 125 meters in 9 seconds. This comes down to 125/9 = 13.9 m/s.

However the man is not standing still. Luckily this isnt a problem. The only thing that changes because of this is that we have to add the man's speed to that of the train. 4km/h is 1.11 m/s.

Together this comes down to about 15 m/s which equals 54 km/h.
