A 132 litres of mixture contains milk and water

in the ratio 5 : 7. How much milk need to be added

to this mixture so that the new ratio is 13 : 11

inital quantity = 132 * 5/12 = 55 litres

So.

(initial q + x/total quantity of mixture + x)

=

ratio of milk in new mixture

(55+x/132+x) = 13/24

by solving this you will the value of X as 36 LITRES.
