ab=(-14+4)(4-14)
=(-10)(-10)
=100 (since minus into minus is plus)

a=-10
b=-10
therefore
ab = -10X -10= 100

(we have to subtract both values and put the sign of the number which is greater. )
property :
+ , + = +
+ , - = -
- , + = -
- , - = +
and sign will be same as on the greater number's.
