A 14cm long electric pole has external and internal radii.as 5cm and 3cm.find the volume of the electric pole

External radius ( R ) =
5 \: cm


Internal radius ( r ) =
3 \: cm

therefore,

volume \: of \: outer  \: electric\: pole \: - volume \\ of \: inner \: electric \: pole \\  \\  = \pi {R}^{2}h \:  -  \: \pi {r}^{2}h \\   = \pi(R {}^{2} -  {r}^{2}  )h \\   \\  =  \frac{22}{7} ( {5}^{2}  -  {3}^{2} )14 \\  \\  = 22(5 + 3)(5 - 3) \\  \\  =44( \: 8 \times 2) \\   \\  = 44 \times 16 \\  = 704 \:  {cm}^{3}
so , volume of electric pole is 704 cm³
