A 15 cm scale has one end broken. The mark at the broken end is 1.8 cm. How would you use it to measure the length of your pencil?​

Answer:

Start measuring from 1.8. So, the 1.8 would be regarded as 0. From 1.8 cm to 2.8 cm , the measurement is 1 centimetre. So, till 14.8 the measurement will be 13 centimetre.
