A 15-m ladder is placed against a wall in such a way that the foot of the ladder is 9 metre away from the wall. At what height does the ladder reach the wall?​

 {bc}^{2}   =  {ac}^{2}  +  {ab}^{2}

 {15}^{2}  -  {9}^{2}  =   {ab}^{2}

225 - 81 =  {ab}^{2}

13 = ab

hence this is the height if wall.
