Answer →

Speed of train is 84km/hr .

Solution→

Speed of the man traveling in opposite side is 6 km/hr.

Distance covered by train in 6 sec = Length of train .

So, distance travelled by train = 150 m

Speed = Distance/ time taken.

Speed = 150/6

Speed = 25m/sec

Speed = 25 × (18/5)

Speed = 90 km/ hr

As both things are traveling in opposite directions so their relative speed will be

( x +y ) As x and y are the assumed speed of both objects .x is the speed of train and y is the speed of man .

90 = x +y

y = 6 km/ hr .

90 = x + 6

90 - 6 = x

84.= x

So , speed of train is 84 km/ hr .
