Step-by-step explanation:

first we get the speed of 1st train;

given;

s=150m

t= 12 sec

v =?

we know that,

v=s/t

v=150/12=12.5

v=12.5m/s

II) s=v×t

we are given that it taken 18sec for first train to travel the 2nd train and also we get that speed of 1st train =12.5m/s

.•.length of 2nd train with reference to 1st train =

velocity of 1st train × time taken for train to travel

=>s = 12.5 ×18

=> s= 225 m

therefore, length of 2nd train =225m
