Saint kuriakose Elias Chavara
Elias Chavara born in his native village of Kerala in the year 1805, Elias left his native village at a very young age to change the injustice around to country and about the oppression of the higher caste. Elias made sure the society becomes accepting of all people regardless of their caste, religion and creed.
Elias was also very aware of how women were treated in the society and on how they were deprived of all the benefits and the privileges a man gets.
