According to law of conservation of linear momentum,
- M1V1 = M2V2
According to Newton's third lae of motion,
- M1V1 = -M2V2
- -V2 = M1V1/M2
- -V2 = 160 g × 1000 m/s / 15000 g
- -V2 = 106.6 m/s
- V2 = 106.6 m/s
Therefore, the recoil Velocity of the gun is 106.6 m/s
