TOTAL DISTANCE = 400 m  (SINCE THE TRAIN IS 150 m LONG, TOTAL
                                             DISTANCE BECOMES 400)
 TOTAL TIME = 25 seconds

VELOCITY = 400/25 = 16 m/s

The velocity of the given train is 16m/s.

Given data:

Length of the train= 150m

Length of the bridge= 250m

Time taken= 25s

To find:

Velocity of the train as per the given.

Solution:

Velocity is given by the formula:

Velocity of the train is determined by the ratio between the distance of the train and time taken by the train.

Velocity= Distance/ Time

The distance of the train= (150+250) m =400 m

We already know that time taken= 25s

So, Velocity =\frac{400}{25}

= 16m/s

Therefore, the train’s velocity is 16m/s.
