A 150m long train is moving with constant velocity of 12.5 m/s. find the equation of the motion of the train

GIVEN :-

Length of train = 150 m.

Constant velocity v = 12.5 m/s

Speed = Distance/Time

To Find :-

Find the equation of the motion of the train

SOLUTION :-

i) Equation of motion :-

150

= 12.5 t

ii) Time taken to cross a pole :-

t = 150/12.5

= 12sec

iii) Time take to cross a bridge :-

= 850+150/12.5

= 80sec.
