Solution :

As we know that :

Well is in the shape of Cylinder

Given that :

Height of well = 16 m.

And Diameter = 3.5m => Radius = 3.5/2 = 1.75 m

Now, Volume of Well (Cylinder) :

\pi {r}^{2} h \\  \\  =  >  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {(1.75)}^{2}  \times 16....(1)

Also Given that :

As the well spread evenly to form a plateform

Let, the height of plateform be x m.

Volume of plateform :

27.5 \times 7 \times x = 192.5x

ATQ :

 \frac{22}{7}  \times  {(1.75)}^{2}  \times 16 = 192.5x \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{22 \times 1.75 \times 1.75  \times 16}{7 \times 192.5}  = 0.8

So, the height of plateform will be 0.8 m. ✔

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of well = Volume of cuboidal platform

L×B×H = π × R²L'

H=0.799m = 0.8m (approx)
