Its a simple numerical .

it consists only two steps .

First , find out Deacceleration (Acceleration in opposite direction)

by using

f = ma

then find out Distance (S)

by using

v {}^{2}  - u ^{2}  = 2as

Given that,

Mass of car, m = 1800 kg

Initial speed, u = 30 m/s

Finally, it comes to stop, v = 0

Force, F = 6000 N

To find,

The distance travelled by the car before it comes to rest.

Solution,

The force acting on the car is given by :

F=ma

a is acceleration

a=\dfrac{F}{m}\\\\a=\dfrac{6000\ N}{1800\ kg}\\\\a=3.34\ m/s^2

Now using third equation to motion to find the distance travelled by the car before it comes to rest. So,

v^2-u^2=2ad\\\\d=\dfrac{v^2-u^2}{2a}\\\\d=\dfrac{0-(30)^2}{2\times 3.34}\\\\d=134.73\ m

So, the distance travelled by the car before it comes to rest is 134.73 m.
