Height of object=h= 1cm
Height of image=h'= 0.6 cm
Focal length=7.5 cm
Magnification=m= h'/h =0.6
Also, m= f/(f-u)
》m= 7.5/(7.5-u)
》0.6=7.5/(7.5-u)
》7.5-u= 12.5
》u= -5 cm
So distance of object from convex mirror is 5 cm.
