a 1kg ball is thrown up with a speed of 9.9 metre per second. calculate the work done by its weight in 1 second

Distance travelled by it in 1s = S = ut+1/2gt^2
=9.9*1 + 1/2*10*1
= 14.9 m
Work done by its weight = -Fs=-mg*s=-1*10*14.9
= -149 J
I have taken value of g = 10m/s
