A 1kg wire has a cross sectional area 10 cm² and length 10 m. what is the numerical value of linear mass density of the wire?

Given Conditions---

Mass of the wire = 1 kg.
Length of the Wire = 10 m.

Using the Formula,

  Linear Mass Density = Mass/Length
                                λ = m/l
                                λ = 1/10
                                λ = 0.1 kg/m.

Thus, Linear mass Density of the Wire is 0.1 kg/m.
