Pls help I do not understand .

Greetings ..!

There is a formula of powers and exponents which goes as follows :

(x²)² = x ²ˣ² = x ⁴ .

Simplified, it means that when the base(in this case a ) is same , the powers(inside bracket and outside bracket) will get multiplied .

So , (a²)² = a ²ˣ² = a⁴(answer)
