Using Identity, (a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2

=

 {4a}^{2}  + 12ab \:  +  {9b}^{2}

 =  {a}^{2}  -  {4a}^{2}  + 12ab +  {9b}^{2}

 =  -  {5a}^{2}  + 12ab +  {9b}^{2}
