Here is your answer:

We know that,

a^{2} - b^{2} = (a + b) ( a - b)

Then,

a^{2}-(3a+b)^{2} =  [a +(3a+b)]\times [ a - (3a+b)]

⇒  (4a+b) (-2a-b) = (4a+b) \times -1(2a+b) = -1 (4a+b) (2a+b)

Hence the given expression is factorized.
