\bf{\huge{\boxed{ANSWER}}}

\bf{\underline{Factorisation \: of \: quadratic \: polynomial}}

a² + 5a + 6

\bf{Splitting \: the \: middle \: term \: into \\ two \: terms \: such \: that :}

✳ The sum of the two middle terms should be 5a

✴ The product should be 6a²

=> a² + 5a + 6

=> a² + 3a + 2a + 6

=> a ( a + 3 ) + 2 ( a + 3 )

=> \bf{( a + 3 ) ( a + 2 ) \: \: \: \:  ANS}
