Hi ,

( a² + b² ) xy - ab ( x² + y ² )

= a² xy + b²xy - abx² - aby²

= a² xy - abx² + b² xy - aby²

= ax( ay - bx ) + by( bx - ay )

= ax( ay - bx ) - by ( ay - bx )

= ( ay - bx ) ( ax - by )
