Hi ,
( a² + b² ) xy - ab ( x² + y ² )
= a² xy + b²xy - abx² - aby²
= a² xy - abx² + b² xy - aby²
= ax( ay - bx ) + by( bx - ay )
= ax( ay - bx ) - by ( ay - bx )
= ( ay - bx ) ( ax - by )
I hope this helps you.
