Given :

x      f(x)

-2    -10

-1      -8

0       -6

1       -4

2       -2

3       0

To Find ;  x-intercept of the continuous function in the table

Solution:

x-intercept of the continuous function

=> f(x) = 0

Hence  x = 3

x-intercept of the continuous function in the table = ( 3 , 0)

y-intercept of the continuous function when x = 0

=> f(x) = -6

Hence (0, -6) is the y intercept

x-intercept of the continuous function in the table = ( 3 , 0)
