Answer:

Explanation:

A 2-digit number is such that ones digit is 1 more than the tens digit. The ratio of this number and the. number formed by reversing its digits is 5:6.

let, two digit number are =xy

A/Q,

y = x + 1 ( i )

10x + y/10y + x = 5/6

we have to cross multiply ,we will get

(10x + y) = 6(10y + x )= 5

60x + 6y = 50y + 5x

60x + 5x = 50y - 6y

therefore , 55x - 44y = 0 ( ii )

now we have to put the value of y from ( i) in ( ii).

55x - 44 ( x + 1 ) = 0

55x - 44x - 44 = 0

11x = 44

x = 44 / 11

x = 4.
