a 2 digit number was rounded off to the nearest ten and the result was 60 find the intervals of the original number

1. The units digit of the number can be either greater than give it less than five.

2. If the units digit is less than five, the tens digit must be five.

3. If the units digit is greater than five, the tens digit must be six.

Hence, the number can range from 56 to 64.
