\implies The centripetal force in this case is provided entirely by the tension in the string.

If the maximum value of the tension is 50 N,

★radius is set at 10 m

Put in equation for centripetal force:

t = fc
\implies =mv²/r = √10×50 /2

\implies 15.8m/sec

Question
A 2 kg ball on a string is rotated about a circle of radius 10 m. The maximum tension allowed in the string is 50 N. What is the maximum speed of the ball ??

Answer
Mass of the ball = 2kg
Radius of circle = 10 m

Tension which is maximum = 50 Newton

So f=mv2/r

50=2v2/10

from which we get

v=√250
Maximum speed of the ball =15.81m/sec

hope it helps
