A 2 metre long ribbon is equally divided among 5 girls. How much of a metre would each get? How many centimeters is it?

Answer:

equal pieces cut = 5. Length of each piece = 200/5 = 40 cm. Three quarters of one piece = 40*3/4 = 30 cm.
