We need to calculate the speed of car

Using conservation of momentum

m_{r}u_{r}+m_{c}u_{c}=(m_{r}+m_{c})v

v=\dfrac{m_{r}u_{r}+m_{c}u_{c}}{(m_{r}+m_{c})}

Put the value into the formula

v=\dfrac{20\times0.5+0}{(35+20)}

v=0.18\ m/s

Hence, The speed of the cars after collision is 0.18 m/s,
