a) 20% of the items produced from a factory are defective. If X is a
discrete random variable then find the probability that in a sample of 5
chosen at random (i) none is defective (ii) P(1<x< 4) using binomial
distribution.

b) If X is a discrete random variable which follows a Poisson distribution
such that 3P(X=1) = 2P(X=3). Find P(X<3).
