A 24 hour clock strikes once a one o'clock, twice at two o'clock, thrice at 3 o'clock, and so on. How many times does the clock strike in two days ? Please advice on the proper interpretation of the question as it appears to be confusing. What is meant by a 24 hour clock? Eg- At 1.00 PM, does it strike 1 time or 13 times? Total no.of strike in one day =1+2+......+24 =(24 *25)/2=300 so, in two days no. Of strike =2*300=600.
24 hour clock means the clock by which the time is measured as 1,2,.....,24.
At 1:00pm it strike 13 times.
