Actually Welcome to the Concept of the Capacitors and Electrostatics.

Since, we know the basic formula for a capacitor is,

=> Q = CV

where, Q is the charge in the capacitor, C is the equivalent capacitance and V is the Voltage applied.

For the energy stored in the capacitor we use the formula as,

W = VQ, hence we would write as, Q = W/V

where, W = Work done by the unity charge,

hence,after integration we derive the formula as,

=> W = (1/2)*C*V^2

so now we get as,

W = (1/2)*(24*10^-12)(100^2)

W = (1/2)(24*10^-8)

W = 12 * 10^-8 joules

hence, the work done is, 0.12 micro joules.
