A 25 litre solution contain 20% alcohol. If 50 litres of water are added to the solution, what percent of the new solution is alcohol ?​

Amount of solution = 25 L = 25000 ml

Amount of alcohol = 20/100 x 25000 = 5000 ml = 5 L

Amount of new solution = 25 L + 50 L = 75 L

Percentage of alcohol = x

                                     = x = 5 x 100/75

                                     = x = 6.66.... %
