➧ Work = force × displacement cosθ

➧ Force of friction =
Coefficient of friction × normal reaction
➾ 0.2 × mg

➾ 0.2 × 25 × 10

Answer:

Mass of box m = 25 kg,

µ = 0.20,

S = 20 m,

g = 9.8 ms^−2

.

Frictional force acting on the block

f = µN

= µmg

= 0.20 x 25 x 9.8

= 49 N.

Minimum force needed to move the block F = 49 N.

Work done by the force F = FS

= 49×20

= 980 J.
