26square =10square +(p)square

676=100+(p)square

676-100=(p)square

576=(p)square

24=p

so height of wall is 24m

ladder hight =26

distance between ladder foot and the wall. =10

By Pythagoras theorem,

(26)² = (wall height)²+(10)²

676 - 100 =(wall height )²

576 = (wall height )²

(24)² = (wall height )²

therefore , wall height = 24 m
