Answer: We know that

(x+y)^2 -(x-y)^2 =4xy-----(1)

Here

x=a/2b,

y=2b/a

Then given problem can be written as

(x+y)^2-(x-y)^2-4

=4xy-4 [from(1)]

=4*a/2b *2b/a -4

=4-4

=0
