Hii friend,

we can solve this question by substitution method.

A -2B = -90.......(1)

B - 3A = -40.......(2)

From equation (1) we get,

A - 2B = -90

A = -90+2B.......(3)

Putting the value of A in equation (2)

B - 3A = -40

B - 3 × (-90+2B) = -40

B + 270 - 6B = -40

-5B = -40-270

-5B = -310

B = -310/-5

B = 62

Putting the value of B in equation (3)

A = -90+2B

A = -90 + 2 × 62

A = -90+124

A = 34

Hence,

A = 34 and B = 60

HOPE U GOT IT..... :-)
