Hi ,
********************************
We know
1 ) x^m × x^n = x^m+n
2 ) If x^m = x^n then m = n
*********************************
a^2x × a⁴ = a^10
a^( 2x + 4 ) = a^10
2x + 4 = 10
2x = 10 - 4
2x = 6
x = 6/2
x = 3
I hope this helps you.
