absicca =3 ordinate =−4

since absicca is possitive and ordinate negative , it lies in 4th quadrant

(ii) −3,5

absicca =3 ordinate =5

since absicca is negative and ordinate is positive, it lies in 2nd quadrant

(iii) −10.0

absicca =−10 ordinate =0

since the ordinate is 0, this point lies on the x−axis

(iv) −2,−7

absicca =−2 ordinate =−7

since absicca and ordinate , both are negative, this point lies in 4th quadrant
