If the question is :

 \frac{a + 3}{2}  = 25 - 5 - 6a \\

Then, the solution will be,

a + 3 = 50 - 10 - 12a \\  \\ a + 12a = 50 - 10 - 3 \\  \\ 13a = 37 \\  \\ a =  \frac{37}{13}  \\  \\ a = 2.84

And if the question is like :

a +  \frac{3}{2}  = 25 - 5 - 6a \\

So, the solution will be,

 \frac{2a + 3}{2}  = 25 - 5 - 6a \\  \\ 2a + 3 = 50 - 10 - 12a \\  \\ 2a + 12a = 50 - 10 - 3 \\  \\ 14a = 37 \\  \\ a =  \frac{37}{14}  \\  \\ a = 2.64

a + 3 / 2 = 25 - 5 - 6a

=> a + 3 = 2( 20 - 6a )

=> a + 3 = 40 - 12a

=> 12a + a = 40 - 3

=> 13a = 37

a = 37/13
