Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN:-

(a +  \frac{3}{4}) (a +  \frac{4}{3})

SOLUTION:-

 =  {a}^{2}  +  \frac{4a}{3}  +  \frac{3a}{4}  +  \frac{12}{12}

 =  {a}^{2}  +  \frac{16a + 9a}{12}  + 1

 =  {a}^{2}  +  \frac{25a}{12}  + 1

we know that:-

\bold{\boxed{a=\frac{-b±\sqrt{{b}^{2}-4(a)(c)}}{2a}}}

therefore,

a=\frac{-4}{3} or a=\frac{-9}{12}
