Given :-

A 3.4 long ladder toucges the top of the wall .

To Find :-

Height of wall

Solution :-

H² = P² + B²

(3.4)² = (P)² + (2.4)²

11.56 = P² + 5.76

11.56 - 5.76 = P²

5.8 = P²

√5.8 = P

2.4 = P

Question :

A 3.4 long ladder toucges the top of the wall . find the height of the wall if the distance between the foot of the wall is2.4 m

Answer :

Using Pythagoras theorem

H² = P² + B²

(3.4)² = (P)² + (2.4)²

11.56 = P² + 5.76

11.56 - 5.76 = P²

5.8 = P²

√5.8 = P

P = 2.4 m
